Position Summary
We are seeking a Total Rewards Manager to support our evolving compensation and benefits programs. This position will play a key role in ensuring the competitiveness and compliance of total rewards offerings while supporting internal processes and working with external vendors. The ideal candidate brings experience in both compensation and benefits, as well as strong analytical skills to support benchmarking, vendor oversight, and project-based modeling and analysis to inform strategic decisions. This is a remote role with up to 25% travel required.
Responsibilities

Manage and evolve the company’s primarily U.S.-based compensation and benefits programs, with responsibility extending to Canadian and European markets.
Conduct research and data analysis to ensure competitive and equitable total rewards offerings.
Serve as the primary liaison with benefits vendors (e.g., insurance carriers, brokers, cafeteria plan administrators) to oversee billing accuracy, claims resolution, renewal negotiations, and escalated issues.
Recommend enhancements to compensation and benefits policies, procedures, and employee-facing documentation.
Advise senior leadership on best practices for total rewards strategy, employee engagement, and talent retention.
Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with applicable U.S. regulations (e.g., ACA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA).
Oversee administration of employee benefit plans, including medical, retirement, leave programs, and time-off policies.
Track industry trends and provide insights to leadership on evolving best practices and potential program changes.
Contribute to project-based modeling and analysis related to cost structures, IPO readiness, M&A activity, and external reporting.
Collect and submit data for benchmarking, market analysis, and compensation surveys.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in benefits and/or compensation roles.
Proficient in Excel and data analysis; must be comfortable with forecasting, modeling, and interpreting compensation and benefits data.
Strong understanding of relevant compliance requirements (ACA, ADA, COBRA, ERISA, etc.).
Spanish fluency preferred, but not required.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
Strong organizational and communication skills with a focus on process improvement and scalability.
Additional Details

Location: Remote.
Preferred Time Zone: Eastern Time (or ability to align with ET hours).
Travel: Up to 25% travel may be required.
