Overview

This role is primarily focused on

video editing and short-form content creation . Candidates must have strong video editing skills and a portfolio of short-form content. Writing and marketing tasks are secondary and can be trained.
About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, creative Marketing Assistant to support the execution of content and marketing efforts across multiple platforms.
This role operates within established systems and processes, but we are not looking for someone who simply checks boxes. The right candidate will bring creative thinking, fresh ideas, and a strong sense of what makes content engaging, while still executing reliably and consistently.
You’ll work closely with the team to take outlined ideas and turn them into polished, published content across blog, email, social, and video platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Podcast Video Editing & Content Clipping

Edit full-length podcast episodes into short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)

Identify strong hooks and engaging moments

Bring creative input to editing style, pacing, and structure

Add captions, light graphics, and maintain brand consistency

SEO Content Creation

Draft 1 blog post per week based on provided topics, keywords, and outlines

Draft 1 landing page per week aligned with SEO and conversion goals

Implement revisions based on feedback

Format and publish content (WordPress or similar)

Social Media Content Creation

Create and schedule content across platforms

Repurpose blog posts, podcast clips, and assets into posts

Write captions aligned with brand voice

Contribute ideas to improve performance and consistency

Pinterest Marketing

Create SEO-optimized pins for blogs, podcasts, and landing pages

Write keyword-rich descriptions and organize boards

Email Marketing

Draft 2 email newsletters per week

Work from provided topics and outlines

Revise and schedule emails

Additional Support

Assist with LinkedIn outreach and general marketing tasks

What We’re Looking For

Core Skills
Strong video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)

Experience creating short-form content for social media

Strong English writing skills (clear, natural, and professional)

Understanding of social media formats and trends

Basic knowledge of SEO and email marketing

Creative Strengths
Ability to identify what makes content engaging (hooks, pacing, storytelling)

Willingness to suggest new ideas and improvements

Ability to enhance content beyond basic AI outputs

Work Style
Detail-oriented and reliable

Comfortable following processes and meeting deadlines

Open to feedback and able to implement quickly

Organized and able to manage multiple content streams
