Summary
Family Support Program (FSP) Director—also referred to as Director or PD is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Center, including program development, implementation, evaluation, reporting, staff supervision, budgeting, fundraising, and facilities management. The Director ensures smooth operations and alignment with Center policies and philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

Overesallaspectsofprogramdevelopment,supervisionofstaff,budget,moneymanagement, fundraising, enrollment, and facilities.

Facilitatesthesmoothflowoftheprogram andensuresitsadherencetostatedphilosophy.

Overseesthecare,safety,andwell-beingofstaff,participants,andvolunteers.

Coordinatesstaffmeetings,stafforientationandtraining,andencouragesprofessional development.

Helpsparticipantstoidentifyneeds.

Networkswiththecommunitybycoordinatingcommunity outreach.

Preparesmonthly,quarterlyandannualstatisticalandprogrammaticreports.

Attendssponsoringagency,MFNDirectors'andFSCAdvisoryCommitteemeetings

General Qualifications/Skills

UnderstandandbecommittedtotheoverallphilosophyofFamilySupport.

WorkcooperativelywithconsultantsfromMarylandFamilyNetworkwhoareresponsiblefor implementation and evaluation of Family Support Center program.

Maintainrespectforconfidentialityofinformationdivulgedbyoronbehalfof participants.

Possesstheabilitytorelatetopeopleofdiverseeducational,culturalandeconomicbackgrounds.

Bewillingandabletodoaggressiveoutreachand recruitment.

Education

Master’sdegreeinHumanServicesorHumanDevelopmentpreferred.

Bachelor’sdegreeacceptedin same field with a minimum of four years’ experience in program development and management in program(s) serving populations similar to FSC populations.

Minimum of two years supervisory experience required.
