Summary

Family Support Program (FSP) Director—also referred to as Director or PD is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Center, including program development, implementation, evaluation, reporting, staff supervision, budgeting, fundraising, and facilities management. The Director ensures smooth operations and alignment with Center policies and philosophy.
Key Responsibilities

Overseesallaspectsofprogramdevelopment,supervisionofstaff,budget,moneymanagement, fundraising, enrollment, and facilities.
Facilitatesthesmoothflowoftheprogram andensuresitsadherencetostatedphilosophy.
Overseesthecare,safety,andwell-beingofstaff,participants,andvolunteers.
Coordinatesstaffmeetings,stafforientationandtraining,andencouragesprofessionaldevelopment.
Helpsparticipantstoidentifyneeds.
Networkswiththecommunitybycoordinatingcommunityoutreach.
Preparesmonthly,quarterlyandannualstatisticalandprogrammaticreports.
Attendssponsoringagency,MFNDirectors'andFSCAdvisoryCommitteemeetings
General Qualifications/Skills

UnderstandandbecommittedtotheoverallphilosophyofFamilySupport.
WorkcooperativelywithconsultantsfromMarylandFamilyNetworkwhoareresponsiblefor implementation and evaluation of Family Support Center program.
Maintainrespectforconfidentialityofinformationdivulgedbyoronbehalfofparticipants.
Possesstheabilitytorelatetopeopleofdiverseeducational,culturalandeconomicbackgrounds.
Bewillingandabletodoaggressiveoutreachandrecruitment.
Modelappropriateinteractionwithyoungchildrenandparents.

Education

Master’sdegreeinHumanServicesorHumanDevelopmentpreferred.
Bachelor’sdegreeacceptedin same field with a minimum of four years’ experience in program development and management in program(s) serving populations similar to FSC populations.
Minimumoftwo years supervisory experience required.
