Position Overview:
As a Bolay Restaurant Catering Sales Coordinator, you will spearhead catering efforts in your market, working closely with the Operating Partners to meet individual catering goals and support restaurant growth.

What You’ll Do:

Generate leads: local catering opportunities such as in‑restaurant fundraisers, events, and off‑premises catering

Identify, forecast, and implement sales‑building initiatives, including grassroots and community engagement opportunities

Lead all restaurant catering activities, increasing brand awareness, adhering to promotional calendars, and executing catering plans to achieve sales and business objectives

Drive sales by securing catering orders, building relationships with potential clients, and ensuring effective follow‑through on all catering inquiries

Ensure flawless execution of catering orders, from planning to delivery, ensuring each event is a success and meets Bolay’s high standards

Collaborate with the Operating Partner and Area Director to identify, forecast, and execute sales‑building initiatives

Promote brand campaigns and local catering initiatives in partnership with the Operations team

Own the Catering Playbook and provide feedback on local activity and results, sharing best practices across the team

Boost sales: increase local catering sales by developing and executing strategies to expand catering opportunities in the market

Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and event planners to continually grow catering orders

Make it fun: lead by example, creating an environment that’s warm, friendly, and fun; keep morale high and guest service even higher

Be the face of Bolay: build lasting relationships with guests and the local community, representing Bolay with pride and positivity

Ensure perfect execution: from food prep to presentation, meet and exceed standards every day—perfection is the goal

What You Bring to the Table:

Actively pursuing a degree in Catering, Advertising, Communications, or a related field

At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant or retail environment at the field level

Knowledge of brand building and executing sales‑driving initiatives locally

A self‑starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently

Proven ability to influence internal and external decision‑makers and build lasting relationships

Comfortable working outside of the restaurant 80% of the time for catering activities

Highly interactive on social platforms and in social settings to promote Bolay’s brand and products

Able to work independently under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively

Creative and skilled at communicating ideas visually, verbally, and in writing

Excellent people skills—love engaging with guests and the team

Bring a fun, positive energy with a neat appearance

Requirements

Stand up / be on your feet for long periods of time

Able to lift over 25 lbs
