IR Tech in Charleston, SC

Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Experienced Interventional Radiology Technologists are invited to provide specialized imaging care within a reputable hospital’s Medical Imaging department. This contract position offers a dynamic weekday schedule with rotational shifts and call coverage, allowing skilled professionals to engage in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment known for clinical excellence.
Schedule & Hours

Monday–Friday rotational shifts: 7am–3:30pm, 8am–4:30pm, 9am–cases are completed (call days)
Rotational call on weekdays and weekends
Qualifications & Preferred Experience

Interventional Radiology experience required
Neuro Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications
Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN) accredited program
Proficiency with moderate sedation procedures in Imaging (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Radiology, IR)
Experience with Meditech documentation system is an advantage
Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic Interventional Radiology procedures
Administer moderate sedation safely for imaging studies across all modalities
Rotate across Imaging departments as needed to meet patient and operational needs
Accurately document procedures and patient care in the Meditech system
Maintain compliance with departmental dress code (blue scrubs) and hospital standards
