About the Role

We are hiring an Account Manager to join our Account Services team.


This is a remote role, but candidates must live in or near Naples, FL. Most of this portfolio is local, and in-person client meetings, presentations and site visits are part of the weekly rhythm. We will not relocate candidates or fly anyone in.


At WCG, account managers are trusted advisors. You work upstream and alongside your clients — offering judgment, perspective and honest recommendations to help leaders move forward with confidence. You are not relaying messages between client and creative teams. You are managing the relationship, shaping strategy, setting expectations and protecting the work as it moves from thinking to execution.


The right person is comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple clients, defined processes and accountability.


What You'll Do

Client Leadership

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients
  • Lead in-person meetings, presentations and status calls across Southwest Florida
  • Set expectations around timelines, scope and deliverables
  • Guide clients through decisions and approvals
  • Build trust and long-term partnerships
  • Identify opportunities for additional work and growth

Strategy & Direction

  • Translate client goals into actionable marketing strategies and plans
  • Write clear briefs, provide direction and inspire internal teams
  • Gather research and insights to support recommendations
  • Ensure work aligns with brand positioning and objectives

Project Execution

  • Coordinate with creative, digital, production and PR teams
  • Manage schedules, approvals and deliverables
  • Monitor scope and communicate changes proactively
  • Document meetings and distribute action items
  • Keep projects moving without requiring leadership intervention

Budget & Operations

  • Track estimates, budgets and billing accuracy
  • Coordinate approvals and change orders
  • Maintain organization within the agency project management system
  • Ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably

Growth & Business Development

  • Drive measurable growth for assigned accounts through strong service, strategic insight and trust
  • Support proposals and onboarding of new clients
  • Participate in presentations and strategic discussions


Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • Currently based in Southwest Florida (Naples, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers, Estero, Marco Island or nearby)
  • Reliable transportation for in-person client meetings
  • A dedicated, professional home workspace with reliable internet
  • Previous experience working at a marketing, advertising, branding or creative agency
  • 4–6+ years agency account service experience
  • Comfortable leading client calls and presentations
  • Able to manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Experience writing briefs and coordinating internal teams
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Able to operate within structured processes and documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Experience with project management systems (Bonsai, Asana, Monday or similar)

Preferred:

  • Experience with websites or integrated marketing campaigns
  • Understanding of scopes, estimates and billing
  • Established familiarity with the Southwest Florida business community
