Job Summary
Provide administrative and operational support to the Head of School

Manages all general operations of the reception area of the school office (includes teacher and parent correspondence including phone, and email)

Generates and distributes all school notices and information (calendars, events, scheduling of appointments)

Responsible for maintaining and updating all student files, medical information and emergency contact information

Works with Operations Department in the organization of classroom space, rental space within Riverside Church and all other room assignments for all events for the Weekday School

Monitor supply inventory and assist with ordering materials as needed

Help ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and health regulations

Generates all tuition invoices. Works in conjunction with the Head of School to communicate any arrears in a timely and professional fashion

Track and reconcile school expenses and petty cashSupport lunch distribution to classrooms

Support school socials and web page in partnership with Head of School and Communication Department

Experience and Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required in business administration or related field

3 – 5 years of administrative support experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills required

Excellent interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Canva

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize

Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate complex events and collaborate with various departments and ministries

Knowledge of The Riverside Church and its mission required

Strong organizational skills

Self-motivated work ethic
