The Coordinator of Day Habilitation at our Elba site provides day to day management and coordination of the program.

WHAT WOULD I BE DOING?

Develop and coordinate curriculum for program participants
Develop, write, update, and implement Staff Action Plans and safeguards to people supported.
Communicate with families, internal departments and outside agencies to coordinate services.
Interview, supervise, and evaluate program employees and assist in further development of skills.
Maintains schedule of employees and services provided.
Ensure documentation is completed and in accordance with agency, OPWDD, Medicaid and other funder requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A VOCATIONAL SPECIALIST II:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, 2 years' experience in the I/DD field, and previous supervisory experience required
This position requires a valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by Arc GLOW.
Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
