Canon Financial Services in Burlington, NJ is currently seeking a Senior Relationship Manager, Vendor Finance (Sr Specialist, Rel Dealer Ch). The Senior Relationship Manager, Vendor Finance will support the Vendor Finance Department and primarily grow the dealer base while managing existing Vendor Finance dealer relationships.
The position is full‑time and offers a hybrid work schedule that requires presence in the office on Wednesday and Thursday while allowing work from home the remainder of the week.

Your Impact
Expand the Vendor Finance dealer network by soliciting new business in existing and target new markets.
Solicit new business from Vendor Finance dealers by working with owners, sales and sales management to understand decision‑making process and uncover company needs.
Use professional, creative persuasion and repeated sales efforts to onboard new dealers to use CFS’s leasing services.
Provide communication to CFS management on financing needs in the marketplace.
Understand competitive products and prices offered by other leasing companies and update management on market conditions that could impact CFS’s competitiveness.
Provide solutions to dealers and customers by offering CFS financing services.
Assist dealers in efficiently using the CFS funding platform for their business.
Showcase other key attributes to the dealer funding process that CFS offers.
Demonstrate capability by performing selling and service activities quickly, accurately and efficiently.
Increase new business volume and application activity from existing accounts to grow the Vendor Finance territory.
Collaborate closely with team members by sharing work, using best practices and educating to deliver excellent service.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealership counterparts to drive new leasing business to Canon Financial Services.
Organize and maintain training materials, records, spreadsheets, talk tracks and other work‑related materials.
Use Salesforce to track sales calls, activities, follow‑up tasks and new opportunities for appropriate next steps in the sales and relationship management cycle.
Maintain Salesforce database through activity history and sales coding to ensure detailed knowledge of territory dealers.
Support dealer sales efforts with marketing materials by interfacing with the support team to provide necessary information.
Take an active role in learning CFS systems, methods and processes to become more knowledgeable.
Use best practices to perform day‑to‑day activities.
Understand and possess working knowledge of the Vendor Finance channel’s equipment and primary use cases, customer types and vertical markets.
Support department projects such as Dealer Productivity tools, new versions of the CFS Dealer Portal and beta testing plans through active participation.
Use sales campaigns, quarterly promotions and other means to enhance relationships and better understand dealers’ leasing behaviors.
Provide best‑in‑class service throughout the entire origination process with external dealers and customers as well as internal Canon departments.
Communicate the CFS leasing process and services to dealers and end‑user customers through webinars, virtual presentations and prepared in‑person sales talks.
Provide accurate weekly sales forecast updates and support department projects and assignments.
Participate in selected industry trade shows, dealer meetings and channel partner events.
Always represent Canon in a professional manner to highlight the company’s history and strong brand reputation.
Provide lease product, lease promotion, and general lease process sales training to the Vendor Finance dealer base on an ongoing basis.
Document all transactions using Nexus and other CFS systems to ensure accurate application entry and detailed follow‑up on all lease opportunities and transactions.
Support the sales cycle by documenting lease transactions for customer signature.
Develop relationships directly with customers to encourage repeat business.
Maintain a high level of service by following policies and procedures, reporting necessary changes to maintain CFS’s best‑in‑class service.
Escalate topics or transactions swiftly and efficiently by communicating the current situation and potential solutions to management.
Work efficiently across the organization to satisfy dealer and customer requirements by collaborating with Credit, Customer Service, Pricing, Tax and others.
Possess and demonstrate thorough understanding of T‑Value software and HP financial calculator use to price lease transactions.
Support general education for newer team members.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to developing new relationships in the dealer community and related sales organization(s).
Grow and develop the Vendor Finance territory.
Participate in department and company projects as needed.
Support change‑management initiatives such as testing and development of new dealer efficiency tools, website, ecommerce and beta testing with the dealer community.
About You: Skills & Expertise
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Proven relationship management skills in the leasing industry.
Team player with high energy, positive outlook and professional demeanor who takes initiative.
Proficient in finance structures and programs utilized in leasing industry.
Proficiency of credit concepts.
Strong math aptitude, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills – both written, verbal and group.
Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of TValue, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Nexus and Leasewave.
Travel up to 10% to trade shows, dealer visits and customer visits.
3+ years of dealer finance sales experience required.
5+ years of transactional finance required.
Travel up to 50% nationwide as required.
Must possess a clean valid state driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Driving is an essential function of the job and must comply with company safety guidelines and policies.

Salary range: $92,210 – $138,080 annually, with a generous commission plan.
