Senior Relationship Manager, Vendor Finance
Canon Financial Services, Inc. (CFS) is hiring a Senior Relationship Manager for its Vendor Finance Department, located in Mount Laurel, NJ with relocation to Burlington, NJ in summer 2026. The role is full‑time and offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring in‑office presence on Tuesday and Wednesday (or Wednesday and Thursday beginning July 2026) and the option to work from home the remaining days.
Responsibilities
Expand the Vendor Finance dealer network by identifying and soliciting new business opportunities.
Engage with dealer owners, sales teams, and management to understand their decision‑making processes and uncover business needs.
Use persuasive and creative sales techniques to onboard new dealers onto CFS’s leasing services.
Provide regular communication to CFS management regarding market financing needs and competitive conditions.
Offer solutions and support dealers in utilizing the CFS funding platform efficiently.
Perform sales and service activities accurately, quickly and efficiently to achieve sales volume, application activity, and sales activity goals.
Increase new business volume and application activity from existing accounts within the assigned territory.
Collaborate closely with team members, sharing best practices and ensuring high‑quality service.
Use Salesforce to track sales calls, activities, follow‑ups, and new opportunities throughout the sales and relationship management cycle.
Document all lease transactions and supporting materials using Nexus and other CFS systems, ensuring accurate application entry and detailed follow‑up.
Support dealer sales efforts with marketing materials and provide training and presentations to the dealer base.
Participate in sales campaigns, quarterly promotions, and industry trade shows to strengthen dealer relationships.
Contribute to department and company projects, including new dealer tools, portal updates, and beta testing initiatives.
Assist with change management initiatives such as new dealer efficiency tools, website enhancements, and e‑commerce testing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
At least 3 years of dealer finance sales experience and 5 years of transactional finance experience.
Proficiency in finance structures, leasing programs, and credit concepts.
Strong math aptitude, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Advanced computer skills, including TValue, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Nexus, and Leasewave.
Travel up to 10% for trade shows, dealer visits, and customer visits; up to 50% nationwide for business requirements.
Clean, valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record for company business; mandatory for driving duties.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $92,210 – $138,080.
