Responsibilities Create new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, leads, referrals, and cross‑selling.
Visually inspect buildings for pests, pest harborages, pest entries, and others. Based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance for commercial customers.
Craft territory development strategies to exceed sales targets.
Learn and maintain complete knowledge of Rentokil’s programs, protocols, pricing policies, and service offerings.
Build partnerships and collaborate effectively with internal departments to maximize growth opportunities and ensure delivery of outstanding service solutions.
Complete daily activities and sales performance using the company sales system.
Physical Demands Move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling.
Move around a lot: sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, up/down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles; maintain balance on narrow, slippery or moving surfaces.
Comfortable dealing with different pests (spiders, flies, mosquitoes, rodents, etc.) and small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, attics.
Operate a motor vehicle and keep equipment clean.
Wear personal protective equipment like an OSHA‑compliant respirator; work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, passageways.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license from current state of residence.
Strong social, customer service and communication skills.
Preferred: 2 years of B2B sales experience, especially prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, networking.
Self‑motivated, hunter mentality, ability to work independently.
Will obtain required industry licenses provided by the company.
Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory.
