Job Description
The Territory Sales Manager role with Nobel Biocare is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales and service goals mainly in dental clinics and/or dental laboratories within an assigned territory, through the effective selling and promoting of Nobel Biocare products, solutions and services to existing and potential new customers within the framework of organizational policies and directives.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a sales plan for existing and new customers, assess their needs and characteristics, and present appropriate products, solutions and services.
Analyze and assess customer and territory sales trends and plan sales activity based on territory needs to ensure the territory meets or exceeds assigned monthly, quarterly and/or annual sales goals.
Maintain regular contact with existing customers to strengthen relationships, ensure satisfaction with products, solutions and services offered, and implement and monitor creative marketing activities aimed at expanding core business.
Identify and maintain regular contact with prospective customers; develop and implement strategies aimed at converting them from competitors to new customers.
Develop and maintain relationships with key influential thought leaders to expand market share.
Maintain accurate customer files and records to keep up-to-date information for use within the local organization.
Report to management any product issues, loss or potential loss of key customers, or competitive sales strategies that affect local sales.
Stay informed on products, technologies, clinical studies and competitive activity; apply this knowledge to commercial strategies and tactics.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures and implement them at the territory level.
Establish and maintain a travel schedule that allows consistent contact with existing and potential customers and follows the sales plan and logical routing plan.
Manage the assigned geographical territory within the allocated expense budget.
Complete all administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
Participate in national and local trade shows and company meetings as appropriate; support Yorba Linda educational programs when territory customers attend.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent sales experience in lieu of education.
5+ years of B2B sales experience; dental sales or dental implant experience is a plus.
3+ years of relevant clinical experience in an oral surgery office will be considered.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Candidate must reside within the designated territory/geography (Columbus, OH).
Preferred Skills/Experience
Demonstrated ability to digest, comprehend, and verbalize highly technical product and clinical information related to the company and industry products.
Demonstrated professional sales skills.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Compensation
$73,600 - $90,000
Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential. Compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and other applicable compensation plans.
