Radio Frequency Engineer - Early Career

At Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, we are looking for a full‑time Early Career Radio Frequency Engineer to join our RF Engineering Team, responsible for delivering high‑performance RF and microwave solutions.

Responsibilities

Perform RF and microwave measurements (insertion loss, VSWR, antenna radiation, radar cross‑section) using VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, and antenna measurement systems.

Fabricate antenna prototypes and assemble/test RF/microwave hardware with hand tools, small machine equipment, and advanced software tools.

Collect and analyze measurement data, producing clear reports of test and computational results for internal stakeholders.

Support project milestones, including extended or odd‑hour shifts and overtime as needed.

Operate under general supervision while adhering to standard test and measurement practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Coursework in Electromagnetics, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra.

Basic knowledge of Matlab.

Experience with Near‑field Antenna Measurements (desired).

Experience with NSI/MI NSI2000 Software, Keysight Measurement software, and Radar Cross‑Section measurement (desired).

Experience with assembly, fabrication, or servicing of commercial or military hardware (desired).

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance (Secret).

Experience level: 4 years and up.

Relocation available; position located at a facility requiring special access.
