Radio Frequency Engineer - Early Career

Job Summary
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full‑time Early Career Radio Frequency Engineer for the RF Engineering Team. The engineer will advance RF and microwave measurement capabilities to support mission‑critical systems, perform insertion loss, VSWR, antenna radiation, and radar cross‑section measurements using VNA, spectrum analyzers, and specialized antenna test setups; fabricate and assemble antenna prototypes and RF/microwave hardware; analyze data, generate reports, and communicate results to stakeholders; support project milestones and potentially work extended or odd‑shift hours.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

Knowledge of antenna operations / design

Desired Skills

Experience with Nearfield Antenna Measurements

Experience with NSI/MI NSI2000 Software

Experience with Keysight Material Measurement software

Experience with Radar Cross Section measurement

Experience with assembly, fabrication or servicing of commercial or military hardware

Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years. The role is located at a facility that requires special access.

Salary and Benefits
Salary ranges: $68,000–$119,830 for most locations; $78,200–$135,470 for major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York. This is a general guideline; final offer will consider scope of responsibilities, experience, and market factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. The position is incentive plan eligible.
