Business Development Manager - Nutraceuticals

to drive growth across the USA market

Role Overview
The International Business Development Manager USA will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with key players in the nutraceutical, dietary supplements, and functional food industries.

This is a high-impact role combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, ideal for a commercially driven professional with strong industry knowledge and an international mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities across USA.

Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects (brands, CDMOs, distributors)

Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing

Achieve and exceed revenue targets

Develop long‑term relationships with strategic clients

Act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer needs and translating them into tailored solutions

Monitor industry trends, competitors, and customer needs within the nutraceutical and health ingredients space

Identify new market opportunities and applications for the product portfolio

Work closely with R&D, regulatory, and marketing teams to align product offerings with market needs

Support product launches and go‑to‑market strategies

Support the company’s international growth strategy, including entering new markets and establishing local partnerships

Profile & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Nutrition, or related field (MBA is a plus)

5–10 years of experience in

business development or sales within nutraceuticals, food ingredients, or pharma ingredients

Strong network within nutraceutical brands, contract manufacturers, or distributors

Proven track record of achieving commercial targets in international markets

Solid understanding of ingredients, formulations, and regulatory landscape

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Fluent in English. Spanish is a big plus.

Willingness to travel (30–50%)
