Work Environment: Onsite, large engineering campus with cross-functional product teams and access to construction equipment

Pay Range: $26.00-$30.00/hour

About The Role
We’re looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer (0–2 years) to help design the next generation of intuitive, user-centered interfaces for machine displays in the construction equipment space.

You’ll work closely with UI Architects, Engineers, and Product teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and visually compelling interfaces that improve operator experience and drive consistency across products.

What You’ll Do

Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma

Design intuitive UI for next-generation machine displays

Apply human-centered design principles to real-world product interfaces

Collaborate with UI Architects, Engineers, and Product teams to translate requirements into design solutions

Partner with enterprise design teams to ensure cross-product design consistency

Support design documentation, specifications, and simulations

What You Bring (Required)

0–2 years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design (internships count)

Experience using Figma (wireframing, prototyping, design systems)

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles

Ability to collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to complex UI systems (e.g., automotive, hardware, industrial, or embedded displays)

Experience gathering or incorporating user feedback into design

Knowledge of Human Factors, Ergonomics, or Psychology principles

Strong visual design skills with attention to aesthetics and usability

Education

Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human Factors, Psychology, Ergonomics, or related field

Associate degree considered with relevant experience/projects
