Senior Product Marketing Manager – Credit Card Acquisition (Consumer Financial Services)
Job Summary
We are looking for a sophisticated thought partner to lead marketing strategy and execution for credit card acquisition within PayPal Consumer Financial Services.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Identify and recommend best practices for marketing processes and initiatives.
- Analyze business trends to inform marketing decisions and strategies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive marketing projects and programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior marketing team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications / Additional Responsibilities
- 5+ years of product marketing experience with a focus on credit card acquisition.
- Deep expertise in credit card acquisition funnels, from awareness through conversion.
- Proven track record of driving adoption for financial products and hitting goals in a test‑and‑learn environment.
- Experience with segmentation, messaging, and positioning for financial products across email, checkout, and landing pages.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a personally held standard for quality that consistently exceeds expectations.
- Comfortable working at the intersection of data and creativity—equally at home in a spreadsheet and a creative brief.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with product, operations, engineering, bank partners, and legal in a highly regulated and matrixed environment.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Journey Optimizer is a plus.
- Fluency with AI tools to accelerate research, content development, competitive analysis, and campaign ideation.
Location and Compensation
Pay ranges are based on location and experience.
- Austin, Texas: $106,000 - $157,300 annually.
- San Jose, California: $116,500 - $173,250 annually.
- Chicago, Illinois: $106,000 - $157,300 annually.
Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation.
