Our client is a boutique, growth-oriented independent agency serving commercial and high-net-worth personal lines clients across Colorado's mountain and Front Range markets, Wyoming, and Montana. Founded and led by a hands‑on principal with deep industry credibility and an established network of referral partners, they are building out their retail platform to support meaningful long‑term growth. Producers here are not order‑takers. They are backed by real infrastructure, a warm referral pipeline, and a principal who is invested in the right person for the long haul.

About the Role
They are seeking a senior‑level Commercial/Personal Lines Producer to own and grow the Denver market. This is a ground‑floor opportunity with genuine equity upside. The principal has cultivated strong partner relationships in Denver that generate consistent referral flow across commercial and personal lines, but no dedicated producer on the ground to work and close them. The right person here steps into a supported platform, builds their own pipeline alongside it, and earns meaningful backend ownership of what they produce.

Key Responsibilities:

Originate and close new commercial lines business with a focus on contractors and LRO accounts, along with select personal lines and high‑net‑worth opportunities

Work an existing referral pipeline sourced from established Denver‑market partners, converting warm introductions into placed accounts

Develop independent referral relationships with real estate professionals, wealth advisors, builders, and other centers of influence

Structure submissions and coordinate placement across standard and E&S markets in partnership with internal account management

Maintain pipeline activity in AMS360 and report regularly on new business volume, hit ratios, and premium written

Present a business plan prior to offer as part of the evaluation process

Qualifications:

5+ years of insurance production experience in a retail agency or brokerage environment

Demonstrated ability to self‑source and close new commercial and/or personal lines business

Has depth in their insurance knowledge and understands the unique offerings of these markets

Active Colorado P&C license

Familiarity with AMS360 preferred

Experience with E&S markets and surplus lines placements a plus

Existing referral network in the Denver market is a strong differentiator
