Position Summary
The Account Executive – K-12, Inside Sales (Central Region) is also known internally as the Director of Educational Partnerships – Inside Sales (DEP-IS). This role covers territories within the Central Regional Market (Central Time Zone states) and requires developing and executing a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds revenue goals around our core offerings.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Achieve monthly benchmarks and annual contracted revenue sales goals.
Present unique product offerings and comprehensive solutions to individuals and groups.
Utilize competition knowledge to inform sales strategy.
Observe market trends and communicate insights to customers and colleagues.
Manage expenses in compliance with company guidelines, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and judgment.
Selling Skills
Solution selling.
Account targeting and territory planning.
Developing and nurturing customer relationships with key decision-makers, including superintendents, district administrators, and school principals.
Timely sharing of information with sales management and internal partners.
Successful business meetings with decision makers via video conferencing and phone.
Technologically proficient with Salesforce.com, Salesloft, Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Physical Demands
The role requires excellent written, verbal, and auditory communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive and travel. Light lifting may be required occasionally.
Work Environment
This is a remote position that requires a home office preferably based in the Central region territory.
Position Type
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work and travel, including overnight, may be required.
Travel
The DEP-IS will travel less than 15% of the time, primarily for quarterly team meetings, the annual company retreat, and other sales leader specified events.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of five years of successful sales experience.
Two years of K-12 sales experience required.
