Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Designer with experience in Women’s RTW to join our team onsite in the City of Industry area. This is an in-house, temp-to-hire opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can bring strong technical design expertise across a range of women’s apparel categories.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating detailed specs from sketches, inspirational references, and design direction. This role requires a strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and development, with the ability to support product execution from concept through production. Experience working on private label and a background in highly constructed garments is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Create and update technical packages, specs, and construction details for Women’s RTW styles
Interpret design sketches and inspiration into clear, production-ready garments
Evaluate fit samples and provide accurate comments to ensure consistency and quality
Partner closely with design, production, and cross-functional teams throughout development
Ensure garment fit, measurements, and construction align with brand standards
Manage multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications

Previous technical design experience in Women’s RTW
Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, and fabric behavior
Ability to create specs from sketches or inspirational photos
Experience with dresses, bottoms, blouses, and knit tops preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work onsite in the City of Industry area
