Role Overview
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in growing revenue across your assigned territory by developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and leveraging innovative sales tools. You'll work cross‑functionally with marketing, field teams, and channel partners to drive adoption and use of our technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Build a robust sales pipeline ensuring a balance of leads, prospects, and opportunities to support short, medium, and long‑term growth.
Leverage internal tools and resources to identify leads and drive opportunities.
Develop a deep understanding of territories and assigned accounts, including key personnel, budgeting, funding cycles, internal operations, competitive landscape, and market trends.
Drive growth in assigned accounts through proactive outbound (email, phone calls) and inbound sales engagement, guiding customers toward ONT products that best fit their needs.
Demonstrate chosen sales methodologies to drive consistent account growth.
Develop and update account plans and strategies in Salesforce on a quarterly basis to generate increased sales income; review with Sales Manager.
Manage specific sales campaigns in established accounts, as directed by Sales Manager.
Ensure personal toolsets and skillsets are up to date on latest product developments, marketing campaigns, and competitor activities.
Apply company’s solutions/technology to customers’ individual needs, delivering insightful responses that build trust and facilitate decision making.
Maintain account plans, strategies, and sales activities reflecting product, market, and competitive changes.
Use Salesforce and Seismic for sales funnel management; ensure continuous monitoring and timely action.
Seek help when required to maintain knowledge and system proficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Proactive sales professional with experience in a B2B or life sciences environment.
Skilled in virtual sales techniques (phone, Zoom, email).
Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working in a metrics‑driven environment.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Seismic, and sales enablement tools is a plus.
Benefits
Competitive compensation and benefits. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $83,000 USD. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and stock based on performance.
