Job Overview

Staff Product Manager – Signal Dashboards and AI Hybrid (NYC/SF). IAS is a global media measurement and optimization platform that delivers actionable data to advertisers, publishers and media platforms. As a Staff Product Manager, you will lead the roadmap and development of Signal dashboards and AI-powered capabilities, creating insights that drive marketing spend optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Build customer empathy by engaging directly with advertisers, agencies and platform partners to translate real-world pain points into actionable dashboard and AI-driven solutions.
  • Envision, design, and deliver compelling data reporting and visualization solutions that unlock impact and value for customers.
  • Lead the product roadmap for our advertiser- and agency-facing dashboard platform, focusing on AI-driven insights.
  • Align product peers, design, data science, engineering, and commercial teams around a unified roadmap.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure reporting pipelines, data models, and visualization layers are accurate, scalable, and performance-optimized.
  • Serve as a thought partner to engineering and data science on build‑vs‑buy or partner decisions to ensure long‑term platform health.
  • Make informed prioritization and trade‑off decisions that balance technical feasibility with business impact.
  • Ensure consistency and integration across the broader suite of products, collaborating with adjacent teams to drive platform cohesion.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to guide features into market and drive customer adoption.
  • Define, track, and communicate success metrics (e.g., dashboard engagement, adoption, and insight activation rates) to executives and cross‑functional stakeholders, ensuring measurable business impact.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B software or platform product roles.
  • Experience working on analytics platforms, advertiser dashboards, or large‑scale data products.
  • Track record of innovation – bringing creative, untested ideas to life in emerging product spaces.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML‑driven product development and its application to performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing products where model accuracy, latency, and cost must be balanced against user experience.
  • Ability to evaluate system architecture, assess technical tradeoffs, and partner closely with engineers and data scientists.
  • Proven experience in ad tech, martech, or digital media environments with strong domain knowledge.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, data‑driven products from 0→1 and scaling existing solutions.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams across multiple time zones and functions.
  • Clear, structured communication and strong decision‑making under ambiguity.
  • Comfort operating in high‑growth, fast‑paced environments with matrixed teams.
  • A product mindset that balances innovation with operational excellence.

Preferred

  • Technical background, ideally with a degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, or working with foundation models (LLMs, vision models, etc.).
  • Experience explaining AI capabilities and limitations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Track record of defining AI product positioning that avoids overpromising while highlighting genuine value.
  • Deep understanding of the media buying ecosystem, measurement standards, and advertiser workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI and data tooling such as Databricks, Snowflake, and SQL to enable effective collaboration with data science and engineering teams.
