The Division of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Utah, University Health Care School of Medicine, is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible full‑time anatomic pathologist with subspecialty training in gastrointestinal pathology. Additional subspecialty expertise or interests that align with department needs are also considered. Candidates at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor ranks are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include contributing to the department’s clinical service, teaching, and research missions. The division processes more than 35,000 surgical specimens annually among approximately 35 subspecialized pathologists and serves as medical director for ARUP Laboratories, a national reference laboratory. There are ample opportunities for research collaboration with the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
