Position Summary
We are looking for an energetic and driven Sales & Marketing Intern to join our Sales team on a year‑round, part‑time basis. This role offers a unique blend of hands‑on sales support and marketing activities, giving the right candidate broad exposure to how a commercial team operates day‑to‑day. Working closely with our sales representatives and marketing staff, the intern will contribute to customer engagement, lead generation, promotional efforts, and field support. This is an excellent opportunity for a Sophomore or Junior student looking to build practical business skills in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the sales team with prospecting, lead qualification, and follow‑up communications.
Help maintain and update customer records and activity logs in the CRM system.
Support preparation of sales quotes, proposals, and customer presentations.
Participate in customer visits, sales calls, and product demonstrations as needed.
Assist with order coordination, tracking, and post‑sale customer follow‑up.
Marketing Support
Assist in the creation of marketing materials, social media content, and promotional collateral.
Support planning and execution of trade shows, events, and customer engagement activities.
Help research market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
Contribute to email marketing campaigns and track engagement metrics.
Assist with product sample coordination and delivery to prospects and customers.
General & Field Support
Assist with delivery, set‑up, or transport of materials and product samples as required (ability to lift 20–30 lbs required).
Operate a company or personal vehicle to support local sales activities and customer visits (valid driver’s license required).
Perform other sales and marketing duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a Sophomore or Junior pursuing a BS in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a closely related field.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift and carry 20–30 lbs as needed.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self‑motivated with the ability to manage time effectively across a part‑time schedule.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Professional demeanor and customer‑facing presence.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior customer service, retail, or sales experience (part‑time, internship, or volunteer).
Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
Experience with social media management or digital marketing tools.
Basic understanding of sales processes and the customer journey.
