The Role
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing and managing the PNW sales region by developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and optimizing wholesale partnerships across multiple channels. This role drives sales performance through active prospecting, CRM management, data-driven analysis, customer training, and coordinated sampling, events, and trade shows. Serving as a knowledgeable brand ambassador, the Regional Sales Manager builds strong relationships through regular account visits, business reviews, and education while representing Smith Teamaker’s values across the region.
· Manageand developthe PNWsalesregion,which includesgrowing abook ofbusinessanddeveloping newbusiness.
· Generate leads throughdirect prospecting.
· Expands customer base by working with distributionnetwork.
· Manage aCRMof wholesale accounts, includingregional &nationalFood Servicepartners.
· Access sales reports to analyze performance (both channel and customer-specific),optimizeproduct assortmentsand consult on go-to-marketstrategy.
· Coordinate and lead customertrainingand presentations, both in-person and virtual.
· Coordinate and execute sampling campaigns locally,regionallyand nationally.
· Enhance relationships by visitingaccountsandconductbusiness reviews.
· Take part in regular business reviewsand presentationswithin Smith Teamaker andwith wholesalepartners.
· Create and/or coordinate customer resources, including sales decks, recipe R&D, andeducational resources.
· Coordinate and lead account visits in OR, WA, CA,ID,AK(25% travel).
· Support and attendtrade showsand events.
· Maintaincurrentproductknowledge across Smith’s ever-evolving portfolio andcreate opportunities forongoing tea education.
· Represent Smith Teamaker’s values and promote positive, courteous communication with both coworkers and customers.
Required & Desired Experience
· 3+ years of experience inBusinessDevelopment,account management, B2Bsales,or relatedexperience.
· 3+ years of FOH foodservice experience (experience in specialty coffee or tea is a plus).
· Demonstrated success in generating leads and converting them to customers.
· Exceptional writtenand verbalcommunicationand presentation skills.
· Communicative and collaborative within a team.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office, NetSuite, Shopify Wholesale, Mailchimpor similar platformspreferred

Location & Travel
· Preferred location will be Portland, OR.
· This role can work in the Smith headquarters and/or remotely
· Estimated 25-50%, sometimes locally, otherwise within the region (OR, WA, CA, ID, AK)
· This position offers a base (~75%) and performance pay (~25%). Target total comp will be $100K and uncapped.
