How you'll have an impact at Paula's Choice

The Creative team drives the visual identity of Paula's Choice across digital channels. As a Senior Digital Designer, you will combine strategic vision, design expertise, and team leadership to deliver engaging creative that resonates with customers and drives business results. You'll collaborate with Marketing, Brand, E‑commerce, and Product teams to build consistent, innovative, and inclusive campaigns.
As a Senior Digital Designer, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

Lead the design and development of 360° digital campaign assets across web, email, paid media, and social
Provide guidance and mentorship to up to three junior designers, fostering their growth and driving high performance.
Strategize and collaborate closely with Brand, Marketing & DTC partners to optimize and redesign new & existing collateral
Ensure all creative adheres to accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices
Use performance data and insights to inform creative decisions and optimize assets
Collaborate on workflows that increase efficiency and elevate execution quality
Proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders with clarity and confidence
Own end‑to‑end creative review process from concept through delivery

We are based in Seattle, WA. While we prefer local candidates, we are flexible on location
Hours:

Typical PST business hours, some flexibility required
Physical requirements:

Ability to handle both sitting and screen time for long periods of time
Travel requirements:

Minimal travel may be required for team meetings or events, up to 5%
What you'll bring to the table:

A portfolio that demonstrates an eye for storytelling, excellent taste, a passion for design and a keen sense of what will perform well on different digital platforms
You enjoy staying current on design trends and industry technology, inspiring team members to think, work and problem solve in new ways
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant design experience, with a portfolio showcasing digital campaign work
2+ years of people management experience with proven ability to coach and develop talent
Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, motion and AI‑driven design tools, 3D software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects)
Proficiency with modern collaborative tools (Figma)
Deep knowledge of responsive web design, UX and UI best practices and digital production processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and a proactive approach to problem solving
Experience working cross‑functionally with marketing, brand, and e‑commerce teams

Motion graphics, video creation, and animation experience
UX/UI design knowledge and familiarity with HTML/CSS
Familiarity with global brand scaling and localization
Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or skincare industry

$115,000 - $130,000 USD/annually

We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
