Marketing And Business Development Coordinator

Position Summary
We are seeking a driven, creative, and organized Business Development & Marketing Coordinator who thrives at the intersection of relationship-building and brand storytelling. This is an equal parts business development and marketing role. You won’t be filing proposals in a back office or posting to social media in isolation.

The ideal candidate has direct experience working in an AEC (Architecture, Engineering, or Construction) firm and understands the rhythm, relationships, and nuances of how design firms compete and win.

Qualifications
Required

3–6 years of experience in a business development, marketing, or proposal role within an AEC firm

Demonstrated experience writing and producing AEC proposals and qualification packages (SF330 experience a plus)

Strong written communication skills — able to translate technical project experience into compelling client-facing narratives

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and the Microsoft Office suite

Familiarity with AEC CRM platforms (Deltek Ajera, Salesforce, or equivalent)

Highly organized with strong project management instincts and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously

Self-starter who can operate with limited oversight and proactively identify opportunities

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Experience supporting healthcare or institutional pursuits

Familiarity with public and private procurement processes (MDHHS, hospital systems, municipalities)

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite beyond InDesign (Photoshop, Illustrator)

Membership or familiarity with SMPS (Society for Marketing Professional Services)
