Tesserais seeking a skilledControl Systems OperatorIIItomonitor,control, troubleshoot, and repair building automation and control systems at Naval Base Kitsap,Bangor.Thisrole is critical to ensuring reliable facility operations, system efficiency, and compliance with safety and performance standards. TheControlSysyemsOperator IIIwill work closely with team members to implement system upgrades,monitorperformance, and support energy-saving initiatives whileprovidingtechnical guidance to staff.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Monitorsandoperatesindustrialcontrol systems and related equipment.
Supports troubleshootingand resolvingissues related toDDCSystems, including sensors, actuators, and controllers.
Assiststomanipulate, control, andmonitorsystem conditions, support maintenance, andperformingpoint checks.
Reviews and analyzes control schematics,graphics,diagrams, and system documentation to aid in diagnostics and repairs.
Educates and trains staffonthe operation of DDC systems.
Maintainsaccuraterecords of service performed, system changes, and inventory of parts.
Ensurecompliance with all safety regulations and company policies during all operational procedures.
Monitors system performance and recommends energy-saving upgrades or modifications.
Conducts routinemonitoringand inspections on DDC systems to ensureaccuratefunctionality and reliability.
This position may be subject to call-back availability based on operational needs.
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma/GED isrequired; Associate degreepreferred.
0-3years' experienceinElectronics, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
Equivalent combination of experience and education allowed
Experience withbuilding automation systems, or related technology.
Basicunderstanding of control theory, HVAC systems, and energy management practices.
Basic troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability toperformthe following physical demands for extended periods of time with or withoutassistance. The physical demands of this position may bereasonably accommodatedfor individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to50pounds.
May berequiredto reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also berequired.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

A valid state driver's license isrequiredwith the ability to obtain andmaintaincoverage byTessera'sinsurance.
