Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, human services, or related field
Two years of work experience in public housing authority
Knowledge of Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher programs and HUD regulations
Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends
Train, supervise, and evaluate personnel assigned to programmatic units within the Housing Authority
Research current and proposed federal laws and guidelines relevant to assigned unit
Conduct audits of Housing Authority programs and processes for compliance
Troubleshoot difficult cases regarding eligibility, rent negotiations, and placement determinations
Acts as a community liaison with owners of assisted housing units
Recommend procedures to enhance productivity and quality of services
Coordinate preparation of reports for submission to relevant departments and agencies
Perform other related duties as required
