The Producer is a key revenue driver responsible for generating new business, expanding market penetration within an assigned territory, and building long-term client relationships. This role blends strategic sales, consultative relationship management, and market insight to ensure sustained growth, profitability, and account retention. Success in this role requires strong negotiation skills, the ability to adapt pricing strategies as market conditions change, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities

Drive new business acquisition by identifying and pursuing opportunities within assigned territories
Develop and expand market presence using demographic data, industry insights, and professional networks
Prospect new clients through outbound phone outreach (minimum of 40 calls per day), company databases, online resources, and targeted cold calling
Negotiate and structure staffing and service agreements to align client needs with company objectives
Conduct consultative discussions with clients to assess requirements, qualifications, exposures, risks, and service expectations
Collaborate closely with Account Managers to proactively market candidates to existing and prospective clients
Manage and strengthen client relationships to ensure retention, satisfaction, and long‑term profitability
Revisit and renegotiate rates as market conditions and client needs evolve
Actively support positive employee relations to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction
Travel within the assigned geographic territory as needed
Perform additional duties as required to support business goals
Education & Experience

Minimum of 5 years of recent independent insurance agency experience selling personal lines insurance for Private Client/High-Net-Worth accounts, including accounts with multiple homes, luxury vehicles, yachts, private planes, and high umbrella limits
Experience quoting and negotiating with carriers, such as PURE, Nationwide Private Client, CHUBB, Travelers, and Cincinnati
Ability and willingness to travel to meet with clients during pre and post renewal period
High school diploma or equivalent
Active Property & Casualty License
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
AMS 360 experience is a plus
Applied Epic experience is a plus
