Summary:
Support user experience and interaction design for the Investigation Management System Improvements effort. This role is ideal for a designer who can translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive workflows, wireframes, and design recommendations for internal enterprise users.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct user-centered discovery to understand workflow needs, pain points, and usability challenges.
Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, journey maps, and interaction design concepts.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and engineers to align design solutions with requirements.
Recommend improvements to navigation, layout, task flow, and overall user experience.
Support usability reviews and iterative refinement of proposed solutions.
Promote practical, consistent, and accessibility-aware design approaches.
Document design rationale and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
Required qualifications:
Experience in UX, interaction design, service design, or similar roles supporting digital products or enterprise systems.
Demonstrated experience creating wireframes, prototypes, flows, and related design artifacts.
Strong understanding of usability, user-centered design methods, and interaction design principles.
Ability to translate business needs and user feedback into actionable design solutions.
Must meet the applicable TDDC MSA labor category education and experience requirements.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with internal workflow systems, case management platforms, or regulated business applications.
Experience with accessibility-informed design practices.
Public sector experience.
