Job Summary
The Software Engineer III will be responsible for building custom software solutions of high‑quality while following the coding standards and technical design.
PLEASE NOTE: Ideal Candidates MUST possess the following: 7 yrs. + .NET Experience, Automated Material Handling Industry Experience, and authorized to work in the U.S. without Employer Sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications
- Perform coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process
- Typically report to a manager
- May direct the work of other software engineers
- Contribute to moderately complex aspects of a project or product
- Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature
- Travel up to 15%
Qualifications
- Requires Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience designing and developing software applications
- Proficiency with C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework
- Proficiency with Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting/debugging software applications
- Experience with Windows Services, Dependency Injection, Web APIs, SQL, LINQ, TCP/IP, .NET Core
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Azure/DevOps, Git, Source Control, Bug Tracking, SQL Management Studio, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office
- Experience designing and developing Web‑based systems, as well as Client/Server based applications
- Experience in software development lifecycle methodology
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
