Womenswear Technical Designer

We are looking for someone with a

strong technical background

and understanding of garment construction, fit, and product development to join our growing womenswear team. This is an on-site role based in Los Angeles.

You will be working directly with our apparel design team and product development manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate samples for spec accuracy, garment construction, fit, and overall quality

Participate in fit sessions while taking detailed fit notes and identifying corrections

Communicate corrections and fit comments clearly to vendors through diagrams, photos, and email communication

Manage tech packs within the PLM system and track samples to maintain organization throughout development

Create technical flat sketches

Manage multiple deadlines and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

REQUIREMENTS

3 - 5 years of prior work experience in Technical Design

Experience in womenswear, denim, and outerwear

Extremely proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabrication, washes, printing methods, finishing, and basic grading

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

Hold bachelors degree related to fashion

Living in LA, within transportation distance to our office in DTLA

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Full-time Salary Range: $71k - $87k (based on experience)

100% fully covered PPO health insurance
