What you will bring to the team

A strong portfolio and a clear passion for branding, design and visual storytelling

A refined eye for typography, composition, visual hierarchy and detail

Experience working within established brand strategies, design systems and guidelines

A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to present creative work with confidence

The ability to work both independently and as a team, manage competing priorities and deadlines

Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate workflows, manage timelines and keep multiple projects moving forward

Confidence and agility in moving from concept to production, with strong judgment, discretion and accountability

What you will be responsible for

Translate internal communication strategies into compelling creative concepts and layouts for the company’s employee communications and campaigns to promote brand and product launches, employee programs and events, reports, and employee‑wide emails

Own the design and global deployment of digital signage assets across offices using the Appspace platform

Maintain brand consistency across projects by adhering to State Street’s brand guidelines and executing with sound judgment and collaboration between internal teams and external vendors

Create and optimize digital, presentation and campaign assets for internal communications

Develop information graphics that make complex ideas clear and engaging

Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective design solutions

Prepare production‑ready files, templates and archived assets with accuracy and consistency

Skills and Requirements

Formal training in graphic or visual design and/or 4+ years of experience in a design studio, agency or in‑house creative team

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat; experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Audition is a plus

Proficiency in Figma

Proven expertise working with Adobe Firefly or similar generative AI tools

Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Word

Demonstrated experience creating strong visual communications, campaigns and presentations

Proven ability to deliver clean, accurate, refined, production‑ready artwork

Expert knowledge of digital production methods; video and print experience is a plus

Experience designing digital assets for Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint, Teams and Stream — or similar platforms

Experience in B2B marketing or financial services is not required but is a plus

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $113,750 Annual
