SUMMARY

Active member of the operations team and assists the VP of Sales and Operations with the management of the assigned communities. The RSD assignment will align with the overall company goals and may change based on need. The role includes sales coaching and sales skills development for both internal and external sales, teaching others how to sell the value of our communities and services. The Regional Director of Sales (RSD) overall objective is to maximize revenue and occupancy opportunity by leading and executing strategic sales plans.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ability to assist in maintaining overall census to budgeted goals or above; establish and maintain a positive image and productive relationships with marketing and referral sources; organizational skills; effective oral and written communication in English.
Education: Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
Experience: at least 3-5 years of regional experience or sales background, preferably in the health care or service industry.
Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver's license in the employed state is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, coworkers and the surrounding community.
As a key member of management, have an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals.
Perform all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude.
Provide sales coaching to SMDs in the field.
Conduct onsite evaluation of skill and competencies.
Work closely with team to strategize on qualified lead generation activity and events.
Coach and train on key KPIs for sales execution and success.
Serve as a member of the Home Office team leading SMD and community department head sales trainings.
Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the cluster against competitors.
Demonstrate innovative, entrepreneurial thinking in anticipation or response to competitive trends and business development opportunities.
Track and respond to market trends in a positive and proactive manner.
Provide detailed and accurate periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly) sales and marketing productivity reports, critical success factors (comparing industry trends), including analysis, to community Executive Director and/or LCB senior team.
Manage sales and marketing data, audits, training, analysis, and implementation.
Ensure all sales data and activity is recorded accurately in Yardi and updated consistently.
Monitor major account activity and outreach actions for the Sales and Marketing Directors (SMD), and Director of Business Development (DBDs); provide coaching/training opportunities to enhance execution.
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of Quarterly Sales and Marketing Plans for an assigned community or a cluster (when assigned to a cluster) in conjunction with other sales associates, Executive Directors, and Regional Directors of Operations or Regional Directors of Sales.
Review, code and approve sales related invoices and expenses for payment.
Manage within the assigned budget.
Complete all reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Demonstrate accurate analysis of relevant population market conditions.
