Food & Beverage Supervisor – Story Land

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to manage operations at one or more F&B locations throughout Story Land.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of the F&B team and any assigned departments.
Lead by example and embody Story Land’s core values.
Act as a mentor and coach to all assigned hosts.
Be familiar with all F&B positions and fill gaps when necessary.
Perform hiring, orientation, training, performance coaching, and disciplinary actions for hosts.
Ensure required meal and other breaks are given in accordance with New Hampshire law.
Assist with team scheduling and timekeeping activities.
Execute opening and closing procedures of assigned units, including food preparation and cleanup.
Practice, teach and enforce proper food safety guidelines in line with company policy and state/local health department requirements.
Maintain alcohol safety practices when applicable.
Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures.
Handle and resolve escalated guest concerns and criticisms with a positive attitude.
Oversee quality controls and production of food items.
Manage inventory, focusing on portion and waste controls.
Coordinate with warehouse for product and supply needs.
Coordinate with maintenance for all equipment or plant needs.
Perform all other duties assigned by leadership.
Qualifications

No formal education required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in food service, quick‑service, or restaurant settings.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred, ideally in a food or restaurant setting.
Previous amusement park, theme park, or waterpark experience is a plus.
Must become Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or equivalent) within 90 days of hire, if required by state/local guidelines.
Fluent in English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
Requirements

At least 18 years of age to comply with New Hampshire Child Labor Laws.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shift.
Compliance with all uniform policies.
Safety‑oriented mindset and understanding of state and local food preparation and serving regulations.
Exceptional customer service skills with ability to resolve questions, problems, and concerns positively and professionally.
Ability to speak directly with guests when F&B leadership is absent.
Ability to handle high‑pressure situations, meet constant deadlines, and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) technology and PCI compliance is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday; occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders; withstand heat and humidity from food preparation equipment; carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing up to 30 pounds or more.
Working Conditions

This role will be based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments. Employees will experience frequent interruptions and requests that may require reevaluation of priorities; frequent exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain and other weather conditions; constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environments.
