PositionSummary
The Marketing Manager reports to the ExecutiveDirector.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing initiatives that promote Louisiana’sRiver Parishes as a premier travel destination. This role ensures brandconsistency, manages digital and traditional marketing efforts, and fostersstrategic partnerships to tourism growth and engagement.

Marketing Strategy & BrandManagement

Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans aligned with organizational goals and budget.

Managethe execution of marketing campaigns and ensure brand consistency across allmaterials and platforms.

Supportbrand positioning efforts for Louisiana’s River Parishes and sub-brands (e.g.,Bonfire Country, Andouille Trail).

Coordinatewith internal teams and external partners to execute marketing initiatives andcampaign elements.

Conductbasic market research and gather insights to help inform campaign direction andaudience targeting.

DigitalMarketing & Content Management

Managewebsite content, SEO/SEM strategies, and web performance analytics.

Leadsocial media strategy, including content development, scheduling, engagement,and influencer coordination.

Createand curate engaging content across platforms, including blogs, photography,video, and newsletters.

Maintaina well-organized digital asset library and ensure all content aligns with brandstandards.

Supportdigital advertising efforts and track performance metrics.

Design & CreativeCoordination

Developand manage comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the River Parishes.

Designor supervise the production of promotional materials, signage, and brandedassets.

Ensureall creative outputs meet brand standards and support marketing goals.

Coordinate marketinginitiatives across print, digital, social, and outdoor media.

Conduct marketresearch and audience analysis to guide decision-making.

Managecontent creation, including newsletters, brochures, and promotional assets.

Partnerships & PublicRelations

Collaboratewith tourism partners, local businesses, CVBs, and statewide tourismentities.

Representthe organization at tourism events, trade shows, and collaborativemarketing efforts.

Supportpublic relations activities including press releases, media outreach, andhosted visits.

Project Coordination &Vendor Collaboration

Managetimelines, deliverables, and communication for marketing projects andcampaigns.

Trackand report on marketing KPIs, adjusting strategies based on performanceinsights.

Maintainand audit digital assets and content libraries.

Staycurrent with marketing trends, tools, and tourism industry developments tobring fresh ideas forward and emerging technologies to guide innovation.

Qualifications
Education& Experience

Bachelor’sdegree in marketing, communications, tourism, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in marketing,preferably in tourism, digital media, or destination promotion.

Experience managing campaigns, content, andcross-functional teams.

Skills & Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digitalmarketing tools (Google Analytics, SEO/SEM platforms, CMS, social schedulingtools).

Strong writing with high attention todetail, editing, and storytelling abilities.

Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Excellent project management andorganizational skills, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projectssimultaneously with differing deadlines.

A team player with strong interpersonal andcommunication skills.

Able to work occasional evenings andweekends.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportationrequired.

Must be well-groomedand maintain a professional appearance.

Must be ableto lift up to 25 pounds and transport equipment and materials for work tasks.
