Customer Fleet Specialist – China Region
Location: Hartford, CT, USA. Position type: Onsite. Eligibility: U.S. citizen or U.S. person with required immigration status.
What You Will Do
Develop and maintain shop visit forecasts for customer‑specific PW powered fleets.
Work with the customer, PW, airframers, and related organizations to develop and execute fleet management plans to resolve fleet technical issues.
Assist in communicating plans and coordinating resources required to mitigate operational disruptions and AOGs.
Proactively manage emerging fleet technical issues.
Prepare technical presentations.
Handle special “stretch” projects.
Support CFD and Sales Director in managing the customer relationship to ensure seamless service, measuring customer satisfaction via formal and informal feedback.
Drive internal action plans, monitor and provide customer input to address and resolve issues.
Coordinate with P&W Engine Services on management of Fleet Management Plans (FMPs) and other long‑term agreements.
Develop support proposals to address non‑contractual concessionary claims.
Identify and communicate sales and service opportunities to appropriate business unit or sales directors.
Engage with CBO Culture Council, weekly CFD meetings, Field Rep Council, and other CBO‑related forums.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of experience, OR an advanced degree and 3 years of experience.
Commercial aerospace business knowledge.
Solid understanding of commercial engine business, including knowledge of commercial turbofan design, development, operation, or overhaul/repair.
Fluent in Mandarin.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of stakeholders daily.
Ability to manage shifting priorities in a timely manner.
Ability to influence across the organization regarding customer needs and priorities.
Preferred:
Experience with customer fleet management.
Previous work with commercial airlines or aircraft maintenance.
