Designer I

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Use 2D and 3D software to assist the Design Team in developing designs and drafting construction documents in support of clients' building program.
Utilize education and experience to independently tackle challenges on projects with support from the Design Team lead.
Gain experience evaluating client requirements, building code, and zoning regulations to develop design recommendations.
Provide technical design planning and coordination in a collaborative, multi‑disciplined environment.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Produce accurate construction documents detailing the client’s vision and goals.
Document and analyze existing building conditions to produce as‑built documents and reports (travel required).
Conduct building code analysis and research regulatory requirements to determine design constraints.
Develop design options and alternates.
Coordinate building components and systems with other disciplines to develop construction documents based on the client’s requirements.
Perform quality control of own work prior to giving it to the Architect for record signing and sealing.
Depending on client and team needs, directly contact the client on a regular basis.
Qualifications

Management Requirements: None required.
Education Requirements: Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Architectural Studies preferred, but not required.
Licensure Requirements: None required.
