Job Description
Regional Biosimilar Accounts Director (RBAD) for the Mid‑Central/Great Lakes Area (Illinois, Indiana and Michigan). The role manages business relationships between the company and assigned accounts with goals of negotiating profitable contracts, improving formulary access, optimizing net sales, contract performance and pull‑through across the biosimilars portfolio, and ensuring compliance with company policies while exercising appropriate financial stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Identify and advance business opportunities within assigned markets.
- Engage senior leadership with approved messages and resources to build trust and credibility.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of each account’s organization, objectives, business, and environmental issues.
- Act as the company’s primary point of contact for senior leadership in pharmacy, supply chain, employee health plans and relevant medical specialties.
- Develop and execute strategic and tactical account plans.
- Persuasively present GPO brand pricing programs and negotiate direct contracts.
- Communicate approved financial, health‑care economic and budget impact models.
- Coordinate product access with field‑based employees and ensure contracts are properly loaded to provide appropriate pricing.
- Lead account planning and pull‑through initiatives for assigned accounts.
- Coordinate ongoing communications with cross‑functional teams.
- Conduct business reviews of account performance to optimize net sales.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs to communicate clinical value propositions and support customer educational needs.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, ARNP, MSN) preferred.
- Three or more years of recent sales or account‑management experience in healthcare.
- Experience with strategic account planning, customer and market research.
- Strong negotiation skills, demand creation, and intellectual curiosity.
- Demonstrated leadership and success working in cross‑functional teams.
- Strong business and financial acumen of the external healthcare environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with executive presence.
- Ability to analyze multiple sets of data to inform strategic decisions.
- Local candidate required for the territory.
Benefits & Compensation
Annualized salary range: $138,200.00 – $234,900.00.

Other Requirements
US and Puerto Rico residents only. No relocation. Travel requirements: 25% travel. Valid driver’s license required.
