Solicitor - Private Equity Real Estate

About the role

In this role you will be working with a market‑leading team in a role offering genuine opportunities for growth and progression. The team specialises in servicing private equity real estate clients, and you will work with leading global and domestic private equity sponsors, managers and investors on fast‑paced, varied, challenging and complex transactional work across the whole capital structure.

About You

You will have:

  • Previous experience in private equity, funds, financing or commercial real estate within a first‑tier or high‑profile practice, ideally with exposure to the financing of investment into commercial real estate assets.
  • A strong desire to develop an understanding of financing (including capital raising and partnering) and investment structures used in the real estate sector.
  • Passion for merger & acquisition and funds work, alongside a keen interest in commercial real estate.
  • Some experience in structuring joint ventures, funds establishment, real estate debt and other real‑estate investment and capital‑market transactions.
  • First‑rate written and oral communication skills, the ability to develop strong drafting and legal analysis skills, and the ability to explain complex areas of law quickly.
  • Self‑awareness, positivity and the ability to collaborate and work in a team, as teamwork is critical to success at KWM.
  • A willingness to thrive in a culture that embraces change and to build client relationships that deliver commercially astute advice.
