Manager, Marketing Planning And Strategy – Experiential
Position Summary
As Manager of Experiential Marketing, you will help shape and deliver high‑impact, in‑real‑life (IRL) brand experiences that support our overall experiential strategy and key product priorities. This role is ideal for a marketer who blends creativity with strategic thinking – someone who can design premium, scalable consumer experiences and confidently navigate complex, high‑visibility initiatives.
Reporting to the Director of Experiential Marketing, you will lead multiple experiential programs from concept through execution, partnering closely with top‑tier agencies to bring experiential ideas and integrated 360 campaigns to life. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally with teams including Communications, Influencer, Creative, Site, Social, and Paid Media to ensure seamless execution across every touchpoint.
This is a fast‑paced, highly collaborative role that requires strong organizational skills, creative problem‑solving, and comfort managing multiple workstreams at once.
What you’ll do
- Support on day‑to‑day strategy and execution for key Walmart experiential initiatives; serve as a key liaison with internal teams and external agency partners.
- Develop insight‑driven experiential strategies and integrated marketing plans that connect across channels and business units.
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships, aligning stakeholders to priorities and clearly communicating objectives, needs, and results.
- Monitor and optimize program performance, identifying opportunities to refine or scale tactics to achieve marketing and business goals.
- Contribute to the overarching Experiential strategy and ensure alignment across Walmart Marketing.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation, identifying white‑space opportunities and new approaches that elevate the broader Experiential portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in marketing or related discipline – and at least 3 years in experiential marketing.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including deck and brief development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketing or related field.
- Master’s degree – Business Administration.
