Insurance for Students, a FutureHealth Systems company, is looking for an experienced Vice President of Sales in the Student Insurance Market. Our candidate should have a solid understanding of the needs of College Health professionals as well as students as it pertains to Student Health Insurance and health education/promotion.
About the Job
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day sales, marketing, and campaign management
- Implement marketing strategies to develop a strong network of prospective clients
- Connect with prospects via email, phone and face to face
- Conducting at least 5 weekly sales visits/presentations
- Updating the client database regularly
- Identifying opportunities to grow our business and create a plan focused on increasing revenue
- Attending and hosting workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry
- Achieve sales objectives by providing customer feedback, recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
- Sustain rapport with key accounts by exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
To be considered, candidates should have
- Over 5 years sales experience, preferably in a college and university setting
- A proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills is a must
- Must be organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
- Excellent work ethic and Strong communication skills
- Strategic thinking & ability to execute results
- Adaptability and flexibility to support the organization’s growth
- Knowledge of emerging and current web technologies, especially those that relate to digital marketing (social media and email marketing, online advertising )
- Ability to immediately use, at a proficient level, Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, Salesforce, and PowerPoint as well as customary marketing software as detailed by management
