POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a high-performing Sales Professional with deep experience selling Finance & Accounting consulting solutions. This individual will be responsible for developing and expanding client relationships with senior Finance leaders, driving consulting revenue, and serving as a strategic partner throughout the delivery lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive new business development focused primarily on Finance & Accounting consulting engagements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CFOs, Controllers, CAOs, VPs of Finance, and other Finance decision makers
  • Leverage an existing professional network to generate consulting opportunities and long-term client partnerships
  • Conduct 15–30 client/prospect meetings weekly (virtual and in-person)
  • Maintain consistent engagement with key contacts, meeting with network relationships multiple times annually
  • Execute thoughtful, emotionally intelligent outreach strategies with a focus on relationship quality over speed
  • Document client interactions, pipeline activity, and meeting notes with a high level of organization and consistency
  • Partner closely with recruiting and delivery teams post-sale, remaining highly engaged throughout the hiring and consulting fulfillment process
  • Present candidates and support overall client management to ensure successful delivery outcomes

IDEAL BACKGROUND

  • 10+ years of experience, with proven success selling consulting services within Finance & Accounting
  • Strong track record of independently generating and closing business with executive-level decision makers
  • Existing network of 500+ Finance leaders and decision makers
  • Highly professional, articulate, and emotionally intelligent communicator
  • Self-sufficient, driven, and capable of operating autonomously
  • Strong work ethic with a disciplined, high-activity sales approachExperience balancing relationship-driven business development with selective cold outreach
  • Motivated by long-term earning potential and career growth

COMPENSATION

  • Base salary: $150K–$200K (based on experience)
  • 20% commission based on sales allocation
  • Expected Year 1 earnings: $300K+ with strong upside potential
