Account Manager, Business Leadership - Theatre, Music, and Premium Experiences

Momentum Worldwide is looking for a driven Account Manager to be a key member of the Business Leadership team in support of a global retail client. In this role you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of major experiential programs and omnichannel initiatives, enabling meaningful connections for the client’s vast customer base. You will serve as the day‑to‑day point person for the client and internal teams, pushing forward the vision and strategy for the projects you are leading. The ideal candidate excels at building and maintaining relationships, is a strong communicator, consistently strives to solve client business challenges, and provides daily guidance to junior team members. Experience in at least one of the following industries – CPG, Retail, or Sports – is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day management of the client’s business and internal team, managing relationships and expectations in accordance with agency philosophy.
  • Forge and maintain relationships to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Manage the development and execution of major concurrent experiential programs.
  • Establish effective relationships across agency multi‑disciplinary teams at the mid‑to‑senior level, working cross‑functionally to solicit and convey all necessary information in a timely manner (e.g., creative briefs, job starts), ensuring brand strategy and objectives are met, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Attend and contribute to internal brainstorm and creative review sessions, bringing a strategic perspective to both development and execution of creative concepts.
  • Manage project financials, including job reconciliation, invoicing, estimates, and program budgets, in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
  • Create compelling presentations that flow as a story, delivering with confidence.
  • Participate in client presentations, providing clear set‑up and understanding of creative ideas and design execution as a key member of the business leadership team.
  • Possess full knowledge of the agency’s offerings, mission, and vision.
  • Travel to support experiences as primary client contact on the ground as needed.
  • Support Momentum’s values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant marketing experience, ideally focused on experiential in the CPG industry and/or retail. Sports marketing experience is a plus.
  • Agency experience, particularly in the live events industry, with a solid understanding of agency processes, department functions, and workflow.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage strong client relationships and lead external partners within an IAT setting.
  • Proven success in managing internal partners through process, especially within a creative environment.
  • Highly organized and calm under pressure, with the ability to be flexible, multi‑task, and react in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful, proactive, and solutions‑oriented.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, able to communicate points of view succinctly, thoroughly, and confidently both in writing and verbally.
  • Self‑starter and resourceful, with a proven ability to “get‑the‑job‑done,” whatever it takes.
  • Strong budget creation and management skills, delivering within or under assigned budget, and holding teams accountable to tracking and reporting.
  • Effective project management and prioritization skillset, particularly on large projects with many moving parts.
  • Polished, professional demeanor, projects confidence, and enthusiasm for the business.
  • Travel as required by client/agency team.
