Director of Sales and Marketing – Embassy Suites Atlanta Buckhead (HOT0CI6D). The Director of Sales & Marketing oversees commercial strategies for the hotel, improving performance by aligning strategy and business processes.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy business strategies that are creative, dynamic, and impactful for the Americas.
- Lead the Hotel Sales and Marketing process, moving analytics, processes, and cadence to a predictive and prescriptive approach.
- Produce the hotel’s Annual Multi‑Year Commercial Strategy Plan in partnership with on‑property leaders and regional support.
- Connect performance needs with solutions designed by Hilton enterprise, ensuring alignment across group rooms, banquets, catering, business transient, and leisure transient segments.
- Direct accountability for setting the strategy and delivery of the hotel’s revenues, including pricing, group market share, and retail and group pricing strategies.
- Support B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and communications activities; guide e‑Commerce teams to ensure online content is accurate and effective.
- Establish optimal business mix, review and validate revenue forecasts, and develop strategies for different demand periods.
- Collaborate with Executive Committee members to maximize profits in line with GOP and EBITDA targets.
- Develop and execute departmental expense budget and forecasts.
- Maintain real‑time knowledge of all competitor and market activity.
- Execute the Sales and Catering Sales annual SIP (Sales Incentive Program).
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly Sales & Marketing Optimization Process, converting outcomes into actionable business strategies.
- Recruit, retain, and develop all sales and marketing roles; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Lead a culture aligned with Hilton’s DEI and ESG enterprise goals.
- Own performance and commercial activity reporting; present strategies and performance targets to key partners, ownership groups, and stakeholders.
- Build relationships with CVB, community influencers, and third‑party travel partners.
- Engage customers across all sales segments and support high‑impact site visits and pre‑convention meetings.
Qualifications
- Hotel Sales, Catering, or Marketing Experience.
- Leadership and management experience.
- Ability to travel.
- Experience in hotel management or related industry is essential.
- Highly professional oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Critical analytical skills.
- Experience with business strategy, planning, and development preferred.
- Multilingual ability preferred.
- Experience with multiple brands preferred.
