Summary
The Digital Media intern will assist in organizing assets, strategizing updates for the website, adding past content and building new event pages, improving its accessibility, and creating and utilizing SEO/marketing trends and management practices. The main project for the Summer 26’ semester will be adding to the 5th St Mexican American Cultural District webpages. Other tasks include archiving past exhibitions/events and video/photography of intern projects.

Term: 10 weeks (June 17 – August 28, 2026)
Schedule: 10 hours per week (Monday–Thursday 9 am-6 pm and Friday 9 am–5 pm).

Eligibility
Requirements:
Knowledge of photography: can include studio experience, metadata management, color management, and editing
Proficiency in the use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom
Experience with website building/content management software such as Squarespace, WordPress, Cargo, Webflow
Attention to detail in data input and media quality assurance.
Strong organizational abilities for managing and categorizing media assets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Studio photography, photographing art pieces
Knowledge of basic CSS/HTML
Solid grasp of best practices within UX/UI with knowledge in Figma, and Miro or any other UI/UX applications is a plus
Experience with asset management tools, practices, and workflows for archiving
Education: Enrolled in Undergraduate program for Graphic Design, UX/UI, Studio Art, Museum Studies, Photography and media arts, or related field.
Compensation
$22 per hour
