Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Central GA territory in this unique community‑based opportunity. Starting salary is $75,000 per year with an earning potential of a six‑figure income after five years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.

New hire training will be held in‑person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.

Responsibilities

Strategy and execution: Identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory, build awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business, and drive inquiry generation. Shape high‑impact partnerships and execute daily work through presentations, calls and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.

Partner and influencer: Use your passion for serving others to provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners through in‑person, phone or email interactions, championing the GCE mission and promoting Grand Canyon University student success.

Heart and hustle: Support prospective students through the admissions process, guiding them on the right path toward successful online learning in a remote role with ambitious targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. No delinquent or defaulted federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, credit report must reflect current status.

Outstanding time‑management skills. Prioritize competing priorities while traveling.

Clear communication skills: explain concepts to anyone in person, writing and phone, with well‑developed listening skills.

Self‑motivation and drive to succeed: volunteer for new challenges and take ownership of time spent with students.

High emotional intelligence: coach a diverse range of students and nurture partner relationships with empathy.

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, flexible schedule, clean driving record required for extensive travel.

Computer literacy: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
