The Corporate Communications Coordinator supports corporate communications, social media, content creation, and brand engagement efforts for Express Employment International brands, specifically Specialized Recruiting Group (SRG), and affiliated initiatives.
This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the SRG corporate social media presence, including content creation, deployment, audience engagement, online reputation management, and performance reporting.
Responsible for developing platform‑specific content for corporate and franchise audiences, including graphics, carousel posts, LinkedIn Articles, and written communications materials. Supports social media management for corporately owned SRG office locations and assists with support functions for corporately owned locations and resale efforts for Express Employment Professionals and affiliated brands.
Collaborates closely with the Director of Corporate Communications & PR, Senior Social Media Specialist, Corporate Communications Specialist, and Senior Communications & Media Specialist to support social media strategy, thought leadership, public relations activities, and broader communications initiatives.
This position sits within the Oklahoma City based corporate office, currently with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day social media presence for the SRG corporate brand across all key platforms
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (graphics, carousels, captions, articles, and short‑form video) using the SOCi platform
Develop and maintain social media content calendars aligned with brand strategy, recruiting goals, and key initiatives
Support social media content creation and strategy for SRG franchise offices and corporately owned locations
Monitor social channels, respond to audience engagement, and assist with online reputation management
Collaborate with the Director of Corporate Communications & PR and Senior Social Media Specialist on campaigns, thought leadership, and brand storytelling
Research social media trends and platform updates to recommend fresh content and engagement strategies
Draft and edit social media copy, LinkedIn articles, press releases, and communications materials for SRG and Express International brands
Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics for monthly and quarterly reviews
Participate in on‑camera shoots for company video content
Provide social media training and best practices to SRG franchise locations
Support communications efforts for community relations, recruiting campaigns, events, and other initiatives as needed
Education & Experience Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, advertising, or a related field (preferred)
1–3 years of experience in communications, social media, marketing, public relations, or content creation (preferred)
Experience creating content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms (required)
Experience writing social media content, articles, blogs, or communication materials (preferred)
Corporate communications, staffing industry, franchise, or B2B marketing experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proficiency in proofreading, editing, grammar, and AP style
Ability to research complex topics and translate them into clear, engaging, and audience‑friendly content
Solid understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms, audience engagement strategies, and best digital practices
Experience creating and optimizing graphic and short‑form video content for social media platforms
Proficiency with social media management tools (SOCi preferred), Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software, and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand voice, consistency, and content accuracy
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and communicate with various stakeholders
Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment
High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
